Mountains act as a classroom. Casper, Wyoming program gives students hands-on experience

A total of 29 junior high students from around Natrona County spent several days recently living on and learning about the mountain’s plants, animals and astronomy.

"It’s more hands-on instead of like sitting in a classroom," said Logan Wiginton, a student at Dean Morgan Junior High.
