C.M. Russell High students in Great Falls, Montana hone metal skills with new computer-driven milling machine

C.M. Russell High students are striding into the future this spring and learning to program a computer-driven machine to mill precision cuts in metal.

The school district used money from a federal technology grant to purchase the Haas Tool Room Mill last fall for $36,000 installed, counting all the tools, said metal fabrication teacher Paul Hogan.
