Rural medical staff recruitment a constant challenge in Montana

Sometimes they come up empty; sometimes they wish they had come up empty; and sometimes they get lucky.

The case of Dr. Anna Earl is an example of a facility — Liberty County Hospital in Chester — getting lucky.

She grew up in nearby Fort Benton and always intended to return to the area after medical school. True to the dream, she’s now chief of staff at LCH.
