Missoula’s Mountain Line Bus schedule system, designed by U of M student, available on cell phones

Mountain Line has released a Web site for mobile phones designed to make it easier for commuters to find route and schedule information on the go.

Available at http://mobile.mountainline.com/, the site has basic schedule information specifically designed for display on small screens. Passengers with cellular phones, BlackBerries or other mobile devices can access the site from anywhere.

The site was designed by Jordan Hess, a University of Montana geography student who also launched Google Transit for the Mountain Line.
