Sun Ranch for sale in Montana

The Sun Ranch, a scenic 18,500-acre real estate development in southern Madison Valley that encourages land preservation, is on the market for $55 million.

Owner Roger Lang said he’s selling the property in order to buy and preserve more land in another spot.

“I’ve achieved what I’ve wanted to do there,” Lang said Thursday. “It’s 98 percent under conservation easement, so I feel very, very good about that.
