Butte, Montana is a wealthy community

As Shakespeare asked, rhetorically, long ago: "What is the city but the people?" The people are Butte’s richest treasure, as they’ve always been.

The Sacred Ground center is movin’ on up — up the hill to a new location, a larger space and a renewed commitment to creating community.

It’s organizations such as Sacred Ground that add depth and layers of community to a place, and Butte is fortunate to have them in spades. This is sacred ground in so many ways.
