guarantee to CEO and founder Chris Nelson to use in partially financing Zoot Enterprises’ new campus
west of Bozeman.

Veneman was joined by Gov. Judy Martz and Sens. Max Baucus, D-Mont., and Conrad Burns for the
ceremony.
"Even though Zoot is doing really well and we are the best company started in the whole world," Nelson
said, "we still needed to borrow most of the money."
Zoot qualified for the loan guarantee through the U.S. Department of Agriculture because it plans to create
up to 250 new jobs in the next four years.

"The loan guarantee is the perfect example of how we in Montana are going to get more good, high-paying
jobs," Baucus said.
Thanks to a different federal grant of $1.5 million, fuel cells will be used to power the new buildings, where
150 workers process instant credit application approvals for financial institutions around the country.
"Fuel cells are to the energy industry what wireless is to the telecommunications industry," Burns said. "We
have the opportunity to develop that technology for the state of Montana and the rest of the world."
