Bresnan expands work force to satellite center – Company now employs 470 people in Billings

Bresnan Communications http://www.bresnan.com/ has grown its Billings work force so quickly that "The Rock" has made way for "The BOC."

When Bresnan’s 44,000-square-foot operations center on Monad Road opened four years ago, the boxy stone-fronted building was quickly nicknamed "The Rock."

Bresnan employed 200 people in Billings when the operations center opened in 2005. Since then, the cable TV and telecommunications company’s local work force has grown to 470 employees, too many for The Rock to handle comfortably. Three weeks ago, Bresnan moved about 90 employees to a satellite facility, 18,000 square feet of leased space at 2727 Central Ave.
