Wyomingites rank third in national well-being poll

Wyoming’s economy, sweeping scenery and endless recreation opportunities are all things residents said helped the Cowboy State rank third in the country on a national well-being poll.

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index attempts to measure citizens’ well-being using a survey that asks questions like: Did you smile and laugh a lot yesterday? Are you satisfied or dissatisfied with your job or the work you do?

Utah ranked first in the study, while West Virginia ranked last. The survey examines mental, physical and economic health of residents among other things.
