Intercontinental Truck Body of Conrad, Montana keeps Air Force planes moving

A small factory in a rural area outside Conrad is helping the Air Force accomplish its mission, both at home and overseas, and the company is hoping to renew its Air Force contract – and the good-paying jobs it provides for the area.

Intercontinental Truck Body http://www.itb.ca/ modifies trucks to tow Air Force planes, and it is now looking to renew the contract that would keep dozens of jobs in Pondera County.

Workers at the warehouse are transforming F-350 diesels to be able to tow Air Force jets; they shorten the wheel base, making them easier to turn and handle the load of the planes.

A whole fleet of the special vehicles is ready to be shipped to the Mideast.
