Allegiant Air to hook up Missoula with L.A
Sometimes it pays to keep your fingers on certain pulses.
Suspecting for more than a year that Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air http://matr.net/click.php?id=1433&url=http://www.allegiantair.com was about to expand its service once again, officials at Missoula International Airport – without knowing where the expansion might be headed – made it known they were interested in going along for the ride.
Turns out the ride is to Los Angeles, a place to which airport director Cris Jensen said Wednesday western Montana flyers have been seeking a more direct route.
Starting May 2, Allegiant will operate twice weekly between Missoula and Los Angeles International Airport, using 150-seat MD-80 series jets and featuring an introductory one-way $79 fare. One-way fares will start as low as $99 once the promotional period ends.
