Great Falls Development Authority actively seeks land for industrial park

Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ officials announced Tuesday that they are actively looking for land to create a heavy industrial park.

GFDA has been working with a developer for more than a year to create an industrial park north of Great Falls, near the malt plant. However, that park hasn’t come to fruition.

"For a variety of reasons, we still don’t have a lot of progress to show," said Brett Doney, GFDA president.

Doney has blamed the lack of heavy-industrial sites for the loss of several businesses that considered moving to Great Falls.
