National Composite Center partners with Wyoming firm – Manufacturing-Works

The National Composite Center http://www.compositecenter.org/ is teaming up with a Wyoming manufacturer in pursuit of economic growth.

The center, based in Kettering, announced Wednesday it will join Laramie, Wy.-based Manufacturing-Works http://www.manufacturing-works.com/ to promote advanced materials companies in each other states.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

For its part, the composite center said it will benefit from the engineering expertise at Manufacturing-Works for ongoing projects in the Dayton region.

As a technology commercialization and manufacturing incubator, the center has acquired nearly $40 million of infrastructure and equipment for a wide range of composite processes and capabilities.
