Sticky science – Science Saturdays for kids at Montana State University

New this year and free to kids, the two-hour Science Saturdays are the brainchild of Trevor Douglas, director of MSU’s Center for Bio-Inspired Nanomaterials http://www.cbin.montana.edu/ , one of the hot research centers on campus.

“I think if this country is going to be scientifically in the mix internationally, effort has to be put into getting kids excited about science,” said Douglas, a professor of chemistry and biochemistry.

The next two Science Saturdays will be Feb. 15, on computer simulations (limited to 50 students), and March 7, on energy alternatives. For more information or to sign up, call 994-6550 or visit online http://eu.montana.edu/SciSat.
