Bitterroot Valley Community College seeks approval, not funding

PFL Tech Inc. is a marketing technology company that provides sales enablement and marketing automation solutions, as well asprinting, mailing, and fulfillment services. They also provide some great Montana Jobs.

With the 2009 Montana Legislature taking a don’t-even-ask approach to anything that smacks of new spending, advocates of a local community college have decided to hold off on their push for funding.

That does not mean they are throwing in the towel on a Ravalli County-based college.

In an announcement this week, the board of trustees-elect for the Bitterroot Valley Community College http://www.bvcc-edu.org/ said they intend to proceed with a hearing before the legislature, but would seek only approval to establish the college district and not the appropriations needed to start up the college in time for the 2009-2010 school year.
