Casper, Wyoming ‘Business incubator’ project gains another $1.5 million

The proposed central Wyoming "business incubator" to foster economic development reached another milestone toward raising $10.5 million for the project.

On Tuesday, the Casper-Natrona County Economic Development Joint Powers Board voted to commit $1.5 million to the incubator project on the former Amoco refinery site now known as the Platte River Commons, board chairman Karl Killmer said Wednesday.

"Our primary goal is job creation," Killmer said.
