Billings, Montana boy with autism takes second in national book report contest

Scott Benton, 10, has brown hair and a sweet smile, loves video games and comic books and is autistic.

Home-schooled, he recently won second place in a national book report contest sponsored by Hastings, the book, music and video seller, for a report on a book about Albert Einstein by Elma Ehrlich.

"I learned something called ‘E equals MC two,’" Scott said. "I didn’t know exactly what that meant, but now I do."

The family moved to Billings from Kansas, and his parents say people in Montana are more accepting of Scott.
