A business idea sparked by a bad battery – 1,200 customers on his first day

Henk van Ess didn’t want a business, just a better battery for his iPhone. So he posted a note on LinkedIn, and a Chinese battery-maker responded. Van Ess was so impressed with the battery that he started selling it online. Then he opened a Web shop, and then became a full-fledged distributor. He had 1,200 customers on his first day of online sales.
