Kount receives U.S. Patent for proxy piercing technology

Kount Inc. http://www.kount.com/ , a leading provider of fraud control for ecommerce merchants, has received a U.S. patent for its proxy piercing technology. This is the second Kount technology to receive a patent. The first, announced last week, is the company’s device fingerprinting technology.

“This is vital to ecommerce merchants in the fight against online crime, and is one of many technologies we have developed over the years to protect our customers from fraud,” CEO Steven W. Rouse said.
