Lack of qualified teachers has many Montana schools failing to meet accreditation standards

Jennifer McAllister’s musical experience doesn’t extend much beyond her high school honors choir, but now the mother of three is teaching music to elementary and high school students in Moore.

However, she’s not technically qualified to teach at the high school level.
"I took a lot of piano and guitar lessons, but I never really learned an instrument," she said.
