Calif. company plans ethanol research in Montana

A California company is announcing the opening of what it calls the first U.S. factory designed to make ethanol from both cellulose and starch instead of corn.
Representatives of Cupertino, Calif.-based AE Biofuels Inc. will join government officials Monday to open the 9,000-square-foot demonstration plant in Butte, Mont.
