Pakistani student coming to Missoula, Montana for high school and he needs a home. Can you help?

A boy from Pakistan needs a home in Western Montana. He is coming next month to go to high school here for one year in a program designed to help improve troubled countries.

This week, President Bush called Pakistan a world leader and strong ally committed to fighting terrorism and securing the border with Afghanistan.

Still, Pakistan is facing a number of issues, The Pakistani army reported Wednesday that the Taliban killed dozens of people and abducted at least 25 police officers and troops. Hunger and soaring food prices also plague Pakistan.

Montana mountain climber, Greg Mortenson, is working to fight terror by building schools in Pakistan. Now, a boy from one of the towns featured in Mortenson’s best selling book, Three Cups of Tea, is coming to stay in Missoula for one year.

Syed arrives August 9th. If you can help host him during his year of High School, please call 406-273-2511. You also can send a note to [email protected].
