Inside Entrepreneurship: Pitching to angels requires trust
July 15, 2008 /
Q: I have come up with a unique Web 2.0 business idea and need about $200,000 until I reach profitability. I’m timid about sharing my idea with angels because I don’t want the idea duplicated. Right now there is nothing like this anywhere on the Internet. I know I can have them sign a nondisclosure, but I don’t feel that would protect my idea enough. Do you have any suggestions on raising capital without disclosing too much information?
