Idaho teachers find better pay in Wyoming

Brian Ashton wasn’t prepared for the reality of the situation.
A college graduate working as a teacher in Arizona, he was the sole bread winner in his family of five. He was also on welfare.
After the government took its share of Ashton’s paycheck and he paid his family insurance premium, the music teacher took home about $1,400 a month, enough to qualify for every government welfare program.
