The conference, which is targeted toward the Montana research community and technology-based businesses, is an opportunity to expand Montana's research industry, create good-paying jobs and boost the state's economy, said U.S. Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont.
Baucus is teaming up with Montana State University, the University of Montana and Tech Ranch to bring Montana research and business leaders together for the first-of-its-kind research summit in Bozeman.
