The Footbridge to Success. How do you want to look when you leave the University of Montana School of Business?

A group of University of Montana School of Business http://www.business.umt.edu/ students were given the task of producing a short movie about ideas that old wizened business people thought they should consider as they get ready to graduate.

Here’s the result. Congratulations to the students involved. I’ll let you decide the value of the on-air "talent"

Each student was asked to give a short bio.
Here they are. All would make great interns while they’re in school or outstanding employees when they graduate. Give them a call or e-mail them http://www.umt.edu/directory/ . I’m sure they all have business cards by now…

I was born and raised in Dillon, MT and moved to Missoula in 2005 to pursue a degree in Business. I am in my last year of my undergrad majoring in Information Systems and currently applying for a summer internship with Fast Enterprises. I will also be interning in Mountain View, CA with KPMG’s IT Advisory practice in the fall after which I will return to Missoula for my final semester at the University. Upon graduation, I intend to travel wherever my career takes me, but hope to someday end up back in Montana. In my free time, I enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter and golfing in the summer.

I’m a Junior from Forsyth, Montana majoring in Business Finance and Information Systems. I’m really interested in, and would one day like to work in the telecommunications industry. I really enjoy sports (golfing, basketball, wakeboarding) and getting out to a lake to go camping.

My name is Kelli Grenfell, born and raised in Missoula, MT. I am pursuing a double degree in Information Systems and Accounting. I hope to work in a larger city the first couple of years out of school. I have a strong interest for global IT. I was an intern this last Fall in San Francisco with KPMG. I had the opportunity to learn about Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.

My name is Dan Burgi and I’m double majoring in business management and business information systems. For the past seven years I’ve been working for an engineering and manufacturing firm based out of Kalispell. During that time I’ve been a part of almost every aspect of the company, I’ve worked in the shop as a welder, made cross country product repair trips, handled the ordering and receiving process, project managed, and most recently I have been working off site assembling bid packages for prospective customers. I feel that I’m very fortunate to already have this level of business experience under my belt. I’m a big believer in teamwork in the corporate world as well as in the athletic arena. And I spend a good deal of my free time coaching youth sports (mainly hockey and soccer) trying to instill the importance of teamwork and other valuable life lessons into kids.

Graduated from Bozeman High School and took a scholarship to play basketball for the Lady Griz here in Missoula. I have a summer internship coming up with KPMG in Mountain View, CA, starting in June. I love anything outdoors or active, and in my free time I really enjoy reading.
