This week The Orvis Company http://www.orvis.com announced that the winner of the Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge of the Year award has been given to the Eagle Nest Lodge http://www.eaglenestlodge.com/ of Hardin, Montana. Situated on the famed Bighorn River, the Eagle Nest Lodge has been owned and operated since 2002 by John and Rebecca Shirley who bring to their guests a combination of expert guiding skills and a passionate commitment to customer service.

One recent guest of the lodge summed up their experience this way:

"John and Rebecca have the secret to providing a first class experience in addition to outstanding fishing. When I had to leave I felt for the first time that I was leaving friends. Out of more than 100 trips to other lodges, the entire management and staff at Eagle Nest are the best. I cannot think of one improvement needed and that is a rare admission."
