Now’s a good time to think about running for office in Montana

The last time most adults stood for an election, it probably was for student council, or to be an officer of a club.
The idea of going to the courthouse and filing to have your name put on the ballot — a ballot that fellow citizens actually vote on — is about as foreign to most of us as jumping out of an airplane with a parachute. You know people do it, but it’s probably not your cup of tea.
