Program builds business-school ties. Volunteers from Bresnan Communications venture into classrooms to impart knowledge, provide resources

Randi Frieze had the option Wednesday of joining her co-workers in the break room at Bresnan Communications http://www.bresnan.com/ or escaping her office for a brisk walk.

Instead, she was kneeling on the floor of a sixth-grade classroom at Central Heights Elementary, helping students with their math homework. Frieze is the business operations manager at Bresnan, and she volunteers at the school as part of the school-business partnership between Bresnan and Central Heights.
