The Forward Cody Economic Development Campaign nets $1.2 million, moves into final phase of fundraising

The Forward Cody http://www.cityofcody-wy.gov/ economic development group is developing a short list of finalist candidates for its director position and has raised $1.2 million toward a goal of $1.7 million by the end of September.

"At that point, we switch directions and start on the real work of what the program is all about," said Doug Weedin, president of Pinnacle Bank and co-chairman of the Forward Cody board of directors.

That work includes a four-year plan to expand and retain existing businesses, recruit new businesses to create high-wage jobs, train and recruit workers and expand affordable housing options in the city.
