Work Experience
ASUM Lobbyist
• Helped secure record funding for higher education and a tuition freeze for resident students for 2009 biennium.
• Coordinated student lobbyist strategy to ensure that individual lobbyists presented a consistent message to legislators.
• Engaged in various lobbying activities: drafted and delivered testimony; tracked bills, amendments, and fiscal notes; hosted press conferences and media interviews; drafted student op-ed; drafted and delivered talking points sheets; one-on-one lobbying; worked with other lobbyists on various bills.

Tester for US Senate Campaign
• Organized voter ID, persuasion, and GOTV phone banks for the Tester campaign during the 2006 primary. Logged well over 100 hours in 3 weeks of phone calls.
• Recruited, scheduled, and effectively managed over 20 volunteers.
• Delivered a consistent and persuasive campaign message to Montana voters.

Montana Public Interest Research Group
• Worked for MontPIRG in several different capacities as a fundraiser, canvass leader, intern, and office manager.
• Processed contributions and updated membership database between 2005 winter phone canvass and the following summer door canvass.
• Conducted follow-up correspondence with financial donors concerning previous contributions or pledges, membership status, and various questions about past or current campaigns.
• Facilitated communication between project coordinators, volunteers, and members via postal mail, email, and online newsletter.

Volunteer Experience
• College Democrats (Fall 2006): Served as the UM Chapter President; worked on Tester and Lindeen campaigns, I-151, as well as several legislative campaigns in the Missoula area; registered and turned out record number of student voters; successfully organized and hosted two rallies for Jon Tester.
• Students for Tester (Spring 2006): Founded student group; recruited and organized volunteers; conducted voter registration activities.
• NO on I-147 (Fall 2004): As a campaign coordinator working with MontPIRG I organized volunteers, conducted voter education activities, lit drops, and organized GOTV calls.

• PC skills: Word, Excel, Windows, E-Base, PC-Charge Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Montana Democrats online database (VAN), legislative online database (LAWS).
