Tiburon middle school puts a laptop on every pupil’s lap — teachers and students give the idea both passing and failing grades
"Trying to connect laptop use and test scores is a narrow viewpoint," Hardy said, adding that many variables determine increased learning. "(High test scores) doesn’t tell us a student can go into the world and get a job using his laptop, nor do they tell us if he now has the skills at a community college to research a report and make a video presentation.
