100 to attend Indian academy in Billings, Montana. Event aims to help youths work toward positive future

American Indian people are rich in culture and wealthy in family.

This month, about 100 kids from around Montana and Wyoming will add to those fortunes at a five-day academy in Billings.

The Discovering Our Native Power youth academy will include nationally recognized and area speakers and be filled with fun events and physical activity. Also on the schedule are education about healthy lifestyle choices, discussion of career options and some quiet time set aside for journaling.
