Chinese delegates hear business pitches from Montana businesses

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

After spending most of Wednesday with representatives of a Chinese trade delegation, Montana business owners said they are optimistic about prospects for increasing trade with China.

Chinese investors attend Baucus event in Billings

More than 40 Chinese investors and government officials attended a business expo organized by U.S. Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., at Montana State University-Billings on Wednesday.

The expo was organized to give Montana companies a chance to pitch their products to the Chinese, who represented a wide swath of private sector officials from several industry sectors in that country.
