"Classrooms for the Future" to help "out-innovate" using technology to ensure our students are ready for the jobs of the future."

"These classrooms are a good example of using technology to ensure our students are ready for the jobs of the future," said Gov. Napolitano. "We need to out-innovate the competition to stay successful as a nation, and states are in the best position to lead the way for change. Through Innovation America, governors are working to raise standards, strengthen curriculum, improve teaching and motivate more students to pursue careers in science and technology."

"Classrooms for the Future is helping us prepare our students for tomorrow’s postsecondary and workforce opportunities, a key component of Innovation America," said Gov. Rendell. "This publicly financed effort is a new approach to teaching and learning with specific educational and academic goals aligned with the needs of the 21st century economy."
