Business of teaching comes full circle. Students put ideas for helping others to work — and they in turn are tested

As part of an annual worldwide competition, 150 college students gathered in Seattle on Thursday to tell panels of judges what they’ve done this school year to create economic opportunity for others.
Thursday’s regional competition — sponsored by Students In Free Enterprise, or SIFE — pitted teams from 15 schools in Alaska, California, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Oregon and Washington against one another, competing to show how they applied classroom learning to real-world business issues.
