Develop application software code and unit test the modules. Analyze problem reports and take the appropriate corrective action. Design, code and test the solution. Assist in writing and assembling deliverables including user and systems documentation. Assist in defining technical solutions in terms of hardware and software. Participate with other team members in the analysis, design and development of new applications and/or enhancements to existing systems. Ability to learn the technical programming languages, database, tools, and application systems required as well as the techniques and practices employed by NGC in the performance of our contracts.
Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with customers to gather requirements and detailed design specifications. Demonstrate capable and independent analysis, good judgement, and an ability to deduce valid conclusions based on evidence provided by our customers. Develop positive and productive customer relationships. Demonstrate ability to handle increasing responsibilities.
Requirements
Knowledge of Oracle databases, Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), PL/SQL, web development, and object oriented tools and methodologies. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Northrop Grumman team members, other employees and customer staff.
