Nampa, Idaho business group to dissolve. Members coaxed companies to city for past 57 years

A group of Nampa businessmen worked with little fanfare for the past 57 years to diversify the city’s economy by attracting new industry and jobs to the area.
Now they’re quietly passing the torch to others. In January, stockholders of the Nampa Industrial Corp. voted to dissolve the group and divide its assets — an estimated $1 million — among four groups that will carry on their mission with key community projects ranging from small business loans to downtown revitalization.
