Blackfoot Telecommunications Group joins forces with Eagle Satellite

The Missoula-based Blackfoot Telecommunications Group, a leading provider of telephone and high-speed Internet services in western Montana, is repositioning itself as a full-service entertainment and communications firm.

This week, Blackfoot will announce a partnership with Eagle Satellite, an independent reseller of DISH Network, to make television programming a major part of its bundled services in Missoula – soon to be offered in the company’s rural cooperative areas as well.

The move puts Blackfoot on a more competitive footing with power players Qwest and Bresnan Communications, which have long appeared content to let the local company pick up rural customers while they duke it out over the juicy Missoula market.
