Chinook Wireless busy with system
Chinook Wireless http://www.chinookwireless.com/ customer service representatives in Billings were busy on Thursday fielding questions after the launch of their new Montana network late Wednesday night.
Customers can expect two changes, said Rebecca Morgan, director of marketing for Chinook Wireless.
First, the new system requires that all customers have a new phone. Old phones no longer work. In May, the company began converting customers to the new phone. One phone model was available for free, or customers could choose to purchase a more expensive model, Morgan said.
Getting customers up to speed on their new phones has been a challenge.
