Scottsdale and Sedona to cross promote their communities to Arizona visitors.

In a harmonic convergence of tourism bureaus, Scottsdale and Sedona have agreed to cross-promote their communities to Arizona visitors.

The partnership between the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau and Sedona Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau is aimed at enhancing the vacations of travelers to both cities and encouraging them to stay a day or more longer, executives for both bureaus said.

"A lot of our visitors are probably going to go (to Sedona) anyway, we thought it would be wise to make their experience more positive by helping them" with information about the northern Arizona community, said Rachel Sacco, Scottsdale bureau president.
