Chinook Wireless customers in Montana ready for phone changes

Most Chinook Wireless http://www.chinookwireless.com/ telephone customers are now ready for the company’s technology conversion that will provide many new communications services, but will make customers’ old digital phones obsolete.

Chinook Wireless, based in Great Falls, has only a few customers who have yet to select a new digital telephone to replace their existing handset, Rebecca Morgan, director of marketing for Chinook Wireless, said in a recent interview.

The company is offering to replace existing phones with a free Motorola telephone that features a color display, downloadable ring tones, preloaded games and two-way text messaging. For a cost, consumers can choose from three other digital phones with even more features.
