Busy two days for environmental philosopher at University of Montana. "Exploring the Landscapes of Environmental Thought"

Distinguished philosophy professor Holmes Rolston III will participate Thursday and Friday in "Exploring the Landscapes of Environmental Thought" as part of the Environmental Ethics Institute sponsored by the University of Montana Center for Ethics.

Holmes Rolston III will spend a busy two days in Missoula participating in the University of Montana Center for Ethics Environmental Ethics Institute going on this month on the UM campus.

The institute carries the title “Exploring the Landscapes of Environmental Thought.”

Rolston, a distinguished professor of philosophy at Colorado State University, will be part of a five-member panel looking at “Science, Religion and the Environment” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 of the Gallagher Business Building.

Other panelists will be UM professors Albert Borgmann and Christopher Preston, John Hart of Boston University, and Ned Hettinger of the College of Charleston.
