Forward Blackfeet Community members hear ideas for furthering small business.

Members of Forward Blackfeet Community, a collaborative group of entities in Blackfeet Country promoting small business development, listened Wednesday, July 12, to visiting speaker Ted Strong.

A member of the Yakima Nation, Ted Strong currently owns and manages an environmental engineering consulting business located in Grandview, Wash.

The distinguished speaker arrived in Blackfeet Country to brainstorm ideas that worked in developing small businesses in the areas he served. “Forward Blackfeet Community includes many entities working toward small business development,” said Elouise Cobell of the Blackfeet Reservation Development Fund. “We want to collaborate with all these groups for a one-stop, small business development center.”
