Meetings this week in Bozeman, MT to focus on digital health care

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Digital health care issues in rural areas will be the focus of public meetings Friday and Saturday at Montana State University.

The free meetings will feature speakers from the Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and health professionals from Montana, Washington Utah, Virginia and Nevada, said Kim Obbink, director of MSU Extended University.

The public is welcome to attend the free meetings. Organizers are asking those who plan to attend to pre-register using a Web-link at http://eu.montana.edu/digitalhealthcare.
