The Capital Formation Institute presents an audio blog: "Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs Act of 2006"

Bruce Gjovig, UND Center for Innovation, Grand Forks, ND, Susan Preston, Davis Wright & Tremaine, Seattle, and John Westmoreland, Chief Tax Counsel, U.S. House Committee on Small Business discuss a new Congressional bill that could result in dramatic increases in start-up capital available for new companies.

On April 26, 2006, Rep. John Manzullo (IL) and Rep. Earl Pomeroy (ND), introduced H.R. 5198, a bipartisan measure to provide tax credits for angel investors to make investments in startups in the equity "Valley of Death" between family funds and venture capitalists.
