John Kramer president of the Great Falls Development Authority : Parting thoughts

John Kramer can’t stop talking about possible deals for Great Falls. An aviation company, a food-processing outfit and a pipe company top the deal list, he says, as usual not sharing names or other details.

"There is never a good time to leave," the president of the Great Falls Development Authority said. "There are some great projects. For whoever takes over, the basket is full. There are lots of clients we have aggressively recruited."

With plans to pack up for a new economic development job in Iowa at the end of this week, Kramer says he’s working with others, including Cynthia Schultz, the airport director, Mike Rattray, the city’s community development director, and Steve North, vice president of marketing at the GFDA, to share details on the possible deals and "make sure we don’t drop the ball."
