$207 million for OVP’s latest VC fund. Amount is largest raised in firm’s 23-year history
May 19, 2006 /
OVP Venture Partners, one of the Pacific Northwest’s oldest venture capital firms, set out earlier this year to raise $200 million.
The Kirkland firm easily surpassed that goal and is rounding up even more money. Today, OVP is announcing the initial close of its seventh venture capital fund, a $207 million whopper that is the biggest in the firm’s 23-year history.
"We are delighted where we are," OVP principal partner Gerry Langeler said, adding that more money is expected in the coming weeks.
