EnterpriseMontana is seeking businesses for Asian trade mission

EnterpriseMontana, an eight-month-old organization that helps develop international markets for Montana businesses, is looking for “export-ready” companies to participate in its August trade mission to China and South Korea.

The mission will give eight to 10 Montana businesses a cost-effective opportunity to make international contacts, forge new business relationships and possibly ink a few deals, said Arnie Sherman, executive director of the Montana World Trade Center, which is helping to organize the mission with Rep. Denny Rehberg and the Commercial Services division of the U.S. Commerce Department.

But businesses that want to attend should have a clear idea of how their products or services can meet the demands of an international market, Sherman said.

“We’re trying to find the right matches for the businesses here in Montana that are export-ready,” he said.

For more information, call the Montana World Trade Center http://mwtc.org/ at 243-6982. Participants must sign up by May 22.
