200 to lose jobs at Meridian, Idaho Bushnell Outdoor Products plant for gun accessories

More than 200 workers in Meridian will lose their jobs later this year when the manufacturing facility for a weapons accessories company shuts down.

Employees of the Michaels of Oregon manufacturing plant, located in the Silverstone business park near the intersection of Overland and Eagle roads in Meridian, will be phased out of their jobs between July and December, said Phil Gyori, vice president of marketing at Bushnell Outdoor Products, a Kansas City-based company that acquired Michaels of Oregon last summer.
